Kulea Culture Society has been organizing a special night on International Women’s Day with stories, music, poetry and performance. The event titled “Who is your Shero?” invites four socially minded women from our communities to introduce their female heros who have inspired them in their work. Their heartfelt stories testify to the power of female role models in the lives of women. Following their stories, other talented women performers take the stage to share their creativity and wit. It is a night to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution of women from all walks of life.
